Biography
Dr. Dalili is a triple fellowship-trained Consultant Musculoskeletal radiologist with expertise in all aspects of diagnostic and image-guided treatments for orthopaedic, sports, rheumatological, and spine conditions.
He graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, University of London in 2010, initially training in plastic surgery. Thereafter he undertook specialist clinical radiology training which he completed at Imperial College London, including St Marys, Charring cross, Hammersmith, Royal Brompton, Great Ormond Street, Royal National Orthopaedic, Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals and Oxford University Hospitals at the John Radcliffe, Churchill and the Nuffield Orthopaedic centre. His subsequent clinical and research experience has spanned Europe, including France and Switzerland and the United States, including a prestigious scholarship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
He has expertise in the application of modern imaging techniques to sports and spinal conditions and was recently appointed as a Sports Imaging doctor treating international athletes at the Commonwealth Games 2022 Birmingham as well as a nominated panel expert for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) on interventional procedures.
His original work in the application of Magnetic Resonance and Computed Tomography guided intervention to bone, joint, muscle and soft tissue diseases, have received international recognition, with multiple prestigious awards from all major Radiological societies.
He established and leads the Interventional Spine service at Epsom Hospital in Surrey providing minimally invasive surgery sparing treatments for the Southwest London Elective Orthopaedic Centre, a national leader in the field of Orthopaedics.
Dr Dalili is regularly invited to lecture and teach internationally in his field and is the recipient of the Royal College of Radiologists International Travelling Fellowship 2020-2022. He is the chief viva examiner for the European diploma in musculoskeletal radiology and vice-chair of the ESSR Educational committee.
He has contributed widely to the literature in his field on the topic of image-guided surgery, with over 100 original peer reviewed scientific publications and 20 book chapters in leading medical textbooks.
